Windows 11’s artificial intelligence assistant is one of the best at the moment, as it allows you to integrate other Microsoft services. I had never had much confidence in it, but I have tested it thoroughly, and it has already become an essential ally.
There are so many AI assistants on the market today that it can be chaotic to choose the best one; nonetheless, if you’re a Windows 11 user, Copilot is arguably the best one you can access
Since its launch at the end of 2023, this Microsoft companion has significantly improved its responses, as well as the time needed to generate the content you need. And best of all, there are no daily limits like in others, and it is completely free.
If you have bought a new laptop, it is most likely that you even have a shortcut key to Microsoft Copilot from the keyboard, fully integrating it into the operating system, although it can also be easily downloaded from the Microsoft Store if it does not arrive by default.
I have to admit that at first I hardly used this artificial intelligence assistant, since the answers took a long time and it was practically no different from others such as ChatGPT; however, it is now one of the best alternatives for several reasons.
The first and most obvious is that it is from Microsoft, so it can be integrated with other tools in the company’s operating environment, although this is only the tip of the iceberg of its possibilities.
I’ll tell you why Microsoft has an essential AI assistant to improve your productivity and take advantage of the features of your laptop’s processor.

Why Copilot is the best if you’re using Windows 11
The great advantage of using Windows 11 is that you have an operating system in which all Microsoft applications have been designed to improve user productivity.
As for Copilot, we must differentiate between the web version—available directly from browsers—and the desktop application from the Microsoft Store. With this, the possibilities increase in terms of the integration of other Microsoft services.
For example, if you regularly handle a large number of emails from Outlook or use Microsoft To Do as a task planner, it’s practically mandatory.
While with some AI assistants, such as Meta AI for WhatsApp, it is still not very clear what value it adds to the application, with Copilot it makes perfect sense. Now, you will have to configure each tool step by step from the corresponding section in which the AI assistant is mentioned.
Thus, Copilot will be able to recognize PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, or Excel tables, as well as solve any doubts about these, a plus that you will not see in others.
In this sense, it works more as a companion—and not as a typical chatbot—to save the user of the Windows 11 application environment time. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s a trick to creating AI agents and adding default ones.
Few attendees have the potential of Copilot
There is a completely unknown world for the common Windows 11 users when it comes to Microsoft services, which are not few. In this example, you’ll see some that can be integrated into one of the company’s own tools, such as Teams.
With a clear focus on productivity and business environments, you can have Copilot directly organize your workflows with features such as instant translation of meetings or task planning.
Although these agents are added from the corresponding Microsoft Teams applications tab, Copilot is able to recognize them so that you only have to use this assistant, with a plus in convenience for users.
At first, it can be somewhat complicated to configure everything correctly and integrate the different services in Copilot, since you will have to do it application by application, perhaps the only point against this artificial intelligence.
Once you’ve allowed access from all the services you want to add, it’s best to use Copilot directly in Teams or, even easier, with the Windows 11 desktop app.
With this, in addition to organizing the calendar, planning tasks, writing emails, or generating images, you can access Think Deeper, the deep thinking aimed at somewhat more complex answers.
Although it takes approximately 30 seconds to generate the answer in question, it is the one that best refines the results.
In conclusion, although at first I put Copilot aside because I didn’t understand its potential very well, now I can’t stop using it because it’s a totally free tool with which you won’t miss others like ChatGPT.
