CMF, a brand of Nothing, has launched its first over-ear headphones, with a modular design, Hi-Res LDAC sound, hybrid noise cancellation, and an infinite battery.
CMF has announced the launch of the CMF Headphone Pro headphones, the first of the Nothing brand with an over-ear design with active noise cancellation (ANC) and a modular design. That way, Everything is customizable, from the interchangeable ear pads to the controls on the device itself.
These headphones have been manufactured in three finishes: Light Grey, Dark Grey and Light Green, and offer integrated controls that give the feeling of physical buttons and respond to different actions, which can be modified from the Nothing X app.
With this, the Energy Slider allows you to adjust the sound in real time, balancing bass and treble to adapt it to each moment, according to the type of content. The Roller, meanwhile, makes volume control, playback, and noise cancellation smooth with simple twists and taps.
Finally, CMF’s new headphones feature a customizable button, thanks to which functions such as spatial audio or the artificial intelligence assistant can be accessed with a single touch.
High-quality sound and hybrid ANC
Beyond the hardware details, it is worth mentioning that these headphones offer high-quality sound thanks to a custom 40mm driver with support for Hi-Res and LDAC. The entire system is driven by 40mm nickel-coated drivers, custom-designed to provide distortion-free listening.
An additional customization option at the software level is Personal Sound, a format that adapts to the shape of each user’s ear canal to offer a truly personalized experience.
Added to this is active noise cancellation (ANC), a technology that offers up to 40 decibels (dB) of noise reduction and switches between three levels of control. It is also capable of detecting the level of ambient noise and automatically adjusting the ANC to offer the best experience at all times.
Other options in terms of sound are Special Audio, which makes movies and music more immersive. Thus, the Cinema Mode, in the former, enhances the dialogues and makes the effects heard in a more defined way. Concert Mode, meanwhile, brings the depth and energy of live music.
On the other hand, in terms of autonomy, it should be noted that the CMF Headphone Pro offers up to 100 hours of playback on a single charge, which guarantees an experience that lasts for days.
For other activities, such as calls, these headphones offer up to 100 hours of playback and 50 hours of calls on a single charge. Even with ANC activated, up to 50 hours of music is maintained, ensuring long, uninterrupted performance.
Finally, it should be noted that fast charging offers up to 4 hours of playback with only 5 minutes of charging, while full charging is done in less than two hours, via USB-C cable. It can also be recharged from a smartphone.
The CMF Headphone Pro is already on sale for USD $99 and can be purchased from this Monday, both through the brand’s website and other authorized distributors.
