Humane AI Pin Battery Life: Lasts Even Longer

Humane’s AI Pin does not convince users with a price tag that is close to 62,578.60 Indian Rupee, but the company has just released Cosmos 1.3, the latest version of its operating system. The device will have more battery and better connectivity.

Humane’s AI Pin fails to convince buyers, but the company continues to make updates with new functionalities. This pin that is attached to clothes is the work of two former Apple engineers and was intended to replace mobile phones, but it has not been anywhere near the success of the iPhone or iPad.

The intelligent assistant has access to ChatGPT and allows information to be reflected on any surface, even the palm of the hand. Humane assured that they could replace mobile phones, but for the moment more devices are returned than are purchased. The $699 price tag in the U.S. isn’t appealing to buyers.

Humane is looking to the future and has released the Cosmos 1.3 version of its operating system with a series of new features. The Humane AI Pins will have greater battery life than ever and new functions such as adding voice contacts or a better connection via WiFi or Bluetooth.

Humane continues to work on AI Pin despite criticism

Humane’s AI-powered wearable will be more intuitive than ever with the latest version of the operating system. Users will only have to ask their AI Pin to create a new contact by saying the name of the person they intend to add and their mobile number; Sam Sheffer (@samsheffer) has shown in a post on his Instagram account.

Connecting the AI pin via WiFi and Bluetooth will be easier than ever with Cosmos 1.3. Pairing with AirPods or any device is faster; you will only have to send the command to connect to a specific device, and AI Pin will do it immediately, the technology expert has shown.

Humane has opted to improve other functions such as memory recall. The device will be able to record calls or conversations you’ve had while the AI Pin was active; it can even recognize the songs you’ve listened to.

Sam Sheffer has performed a test of this feature of Cosmos 1.3 by asking the AI to retrieve a question he previously asked about the New York Fed. “The New York Federal Reserve has 507,000 gold bars, weighing 6,331 metric tons,” Humane’s pin replied. Sheffer has confirmed that this information is correct.

Another feature that the company will add is quick actions. Users can set up shortcuts on the device’s touchpad, such as two-finger swiping to automatically trigger translation. If you swipe from left to right, you can move between apps like Messages, Translator, or Notes.

The battery of the Humane AI Pin has also experienced a significant leap with the arrival of the latest version of its operating system. The device has new settings that will optimize autonomy by adding an extra hour.

Humane has confirmed that the new AI features of Cosmos 1.3 are now available for supported AI Pins around the world. The challenge for the company will be to convince buyers that it’s worth paying almost 62,578.60 Indian Rupee for these features.
