I’ve spent several weeks with the LG XBOOM Bounce, and it’s one of the best portable speakers of the year, especially because of its great sound quality in music. With more than 20 hours of autonomy, its price is also incredible and does not exceed $186.99.
I didn’t know everything that a portable speaker can offer until I tried the LG XBOOM Bounce, a device that achieves spectacular sound anywhere, although with a more than remarkable quality in music playback.
As a great positive point, its portability offers the best ability to take it to places such as the beach or the pool—also for its resistance—but also to have it fixed in a room of the home, since it adapts its sound to where it is located.
All this for a price of $186.99, much more affordable than some soundbars or fixed speakers that do not have the advantages of the LG XBOOM Bounce in outdoor listening, for example.
After several weeks with it, I think it’s one of the best portable speakers of the moment.

Best Portable Speaker to Throw a House Party or Take It to the Pool
How is such spectacular sound possible in such a portable size? It was the first question that came to my mind after connecting the LG xboom Bounce for the first time, a device that precisely stands out for its ease of transport.
This LG speaker has military standards of resistance—MIL STD 810 – that are noticeable at first glance by holding it in your hands; additionally, they also include IP67 and IPx4 resistance, so they withstand splashes of water and dust.
In this sense, both its portability and its resistance are perfect if you are looking for a speaker that you can take to the pool, the beach, or any summer resort without worrying at all about its endurance.
After several weeks with it, I think it does everything to be the best of the portable speakers, as it is also really easy to use and connect, due to the sobriety of its design, with buttons ready at the top so you don’t have to configure anything.
In this case, the premium design is carried out by Peerless, a Danish manufacturer with almost 100 years of experience, which has provided the woofers and tweeters for one of the best sound experiences, which I will talk about later.
Be that as it may, another incredibly positive section is Auracast, the latest generation Bluetooth technology that allows you to connect speakers quickly, also to other sound systems, in case you want to turn your home into a nightclub.

Outstanding sound, especially in music, that adapts to any environment
If there is one thing that characterizes the LG xboom Bounce, it is its spectacular sound in any type of scenario, although it stands out when used to play music, also for the great capacity for customization.
In this sense, different configurations can be chosen from the LG ThinQ app, which I will talk about later. Here you can select the one that best suits the listening mode—again, especially in music—as well as adapt the sound to the room in question.
The best way to make the most of its sound quality is to perform an examination of the environment every time you change the location of the speaker. Trust me, it’s so easy to transport that this will be commonplace, so you’ll always have the best audio for each place.
As for its autonomy, everything will depend on the values you have selected. For example, with the volume at maximum and adaptive sound using artificial intelligence, the speaker has been able to last more than 20 hours.
In addition, it has a great advantage in the cargo section. In my case, I have taken advantage of its portability to listen to music outdoors without thinking about the battery, while for charging, I have used it connected to a TV.
All these sections are very well integrated into the LG ThinQ application, an essential tool to adapt the speaker to your habits.
LG ThinQ is still one of the best apps for managing devices
LG ThinQ is one of the most popular apps for controlling the entire connected home. If you have a TV or other device from the manufacturer, you’ll be able to take even more advantage of the LG xboom Bounce.
Here you have several sound options: Standard, which is the default; Bass Boost, for high-power sound; Voice Enhance, which delivers clearer, crisper voices; AI Sound, with real-time analysis of the music genre, or Custom, to access the equalizer.
From here you can also turn the lighting on or off at the bottom of the speaker or adjust what you want the MY button, the heart-shaped button above the speaker, to do.
Likewise, among the options that you can find in ThinQ are others such as AI Calibration for optimization regarding listening space, sleep timer, type of power, or multiple playback mode to access Party Mode and play music on 2 devices.
In this last section, you will have no problem using the sound of a television and that of the speaker at the same time, in addition to being able to use it without the need for an application. Be that as it may, LG ThinQ is a must-have to harness its potential, as well as to upgrade it.
