I have tested for 1 month this LG laptop, which maintains the best of the Gram family but with a spectacular design that is not just a nice coating.
LG’s familiar gram is always one of the most coveted in the field of productivity, especially for users looking for good performance and a design already well known in the high-end for work or study, even for somewhat more demanding tasks.
I was able to test this year’s LG Gram Pro, and it was already a laptop capable of competing directly against Apple and Samsung terminals at the highest end, but this LG Gram Pro 17 goes even a step further, thanks to the more powerful Intel processor and a larger panel that is barely noticeable.
On this occasion, as was not surprising, the laptop is over $2,580, a price that is really not far from what you can find in other large manufacturers for their top-of-the-range products. All with a design and performance that will truly impress you.

Intel’s most powerful processor shines in this LG laptop, also with local AI features
LG has opted this time for a laptop that arrives with the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H processor, which was presented by the company in early 2026 and is one of the most advanced currently on the market, with a performance that has really surprised me.
For those who perform tasks with artificial intelligence locally, it should be noted that it arrives with a 50 TOPS NPU, to which it adds a 32-gigabyte dual-channel RAM memory to withstand multiple tasks almost without breaking a sweat.
In comparison, this Intel chip surpasses the one that could be found in the LG Gram Pro of this year, the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, which is also present in laptops such as the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro, the latter of which it is able to match, as you can see below:
This combination makes this LG Gram Pro 17 a very good laptop if you are going to need to access multiple tasks that require large capacity at the processor level and, in no case, you will notice that it overheats, as is the case with more humble processors.
In addition to all this, it comes with several functionalities that will allow you to use artificial intelligence locally, such as the intelligent search of device files, one of the tools that LG knows how to add best.
And to this we must add the applications of the LG ecosystem, which are perfect so that you don’t even remember that you are using Windows 11, since it allows you to configure practically everything from its own interface, one of the ones that best knows how to adapt Microsoft’s operating system in the best way.

It’s not just its color the design is absolutely a delight that never accumulates stains and resists scratches.
LG Gram always embroiders the design with which they arrive, especially because of their comfortable weight for transport, both in the backpack and in a case, but in this case we must make special mention of this elegant color.
It is a really very polished bronze color and, unlike what happens with the black color that keeps stains from the fingers when you put it on and remembers all the footprints, here that is not a noticeable one iota. It’s outrageous, and here LG is totally reminiscent of very top brands like Apple with its designs.
As if that were not enough, its size might seem a bit crude, but they have practically put the measurements of a 16-inch laptop in one that arrives with a 17-inch screen and that does not ignore even an additional numeric keypad on the right side.
In short, it has been the LG Gram Pro that I have tested that I liked the most in its design for offering this finish, and it should also be noted that it withstands very well the possible scratches that may occur when putting it in a backpack.
As for its panel, it has a touch function so you can use it with that if you need to; in my case, I’ve hardly used it to test it. At this point, I do have to say that I love the quality of its 17-inch screen and that I appreciate that LG has integrated it into a laptop with practically 16-inch dimensions, but perhaps the brightness is not enough.
Its 350 nits are probably enough, but I think it could use an anti-glare finish so that when you turn on the keyboard lighting to the maximum level, you can’t see the light of the keyboard. The same happens when using it in brightly lit interiors and with the brightness at 75%, for example, so 2 sensible options would be to increase the maximum brightness or go for that more matte panel.
Otherwise, nothing more can be asked of him. It is a laptop prepared for the latest in connectivity, with WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0, as well as 2 USB Type-A ports and a state-of-the-art HDMI, so you can connect it to any monitor or external panel.

It lasts well over a day’s work and hardly warms up with more demanding tasks
Anyone would think that with this scandalous performance and with what it offers thanks to its screen, this laptop would have low autonomy, but the exact opposite happens.
Its processor is one of the best on the market, precisely, in energy efficiency and has been expressly prepared to withstand heavy workloads for hours on end. Specifically, for more than one intensive 8-hour day.
During the tests, I have noticed that it is able to withstand multiple office tasks, video viewing, and this type of task, with a brightness of 75% for at least these 8 hours. With BatterySaver, you can enjoy even longer.
And, fortunately, it has a charger that is no larger than that of a mobile phone, and that allows a charge in about an hour and a half. It all depends on whether you’re using it plugged in or if you’re leaving it to sleep. Either way, it’s a delight in this regard.

Is the LG Gram Pro 17 worth buying?
If you’re going to invest in a high-end laptop over $2,000, which is already a hefty price tag, I don’t think there’s a better device than the LG Gram Pro you’ve seen here.
For several reasons, its resistant and lightweight scratch- and shock-proof design adds to the elegance of a laptop that seeks to compete against the largest and, personally, I think, has nothing to envy.
In any case, think that it is a high investment, but one that you are going to get a lot out of for years and years, almost at the highest level, so although you may be scared of its price at first, you should know that you will amortize it as long as you use it for demanding tasks that require an almost perfect processor, as is this one from Intel.
