One of Dreame new vacuums does everything you ask of it: it sweeps and mops without getting lost and creates maps quickly, but its mop gets lost when it feels like it.

I found the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Track Complete robot vacuum cleaner complete, precise and not very annoying due to space and noise, which is appreciated in this type of equipment when the house is not very large and when you take the opportunity to start it while you are working: zero distractions and a tailor-made cleaning. I, personally, don’t need anything else.

I had the opportunity to test it for a few weeks, within the framework of the IFA Berlin 2025 international fair, where Dreame, its creator, has presented it along with many other models. I haven’t seen how the others work beyond the demos that the brand offered on this occasion, but I have to say that I don’t have many “buts” with which I have had to try.

The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Track Complete is a pretty smart robot vacuum cleaner, as it creates maps very easily and quickly and moves around the house like a ninja, without making any noise, during mapping or until it reaches the selected room.

That’s when it gets going, but with a volume of noise that is barely noticeable or interrupts what you’re doing, which is especially appreciated on a day-to-day basis. In addition, it is modern, with a black color that fits anywhere in the house and is suitable for all tastes. But the important thing does not catch the dust like so many others.

It is both a robot vacuum cleaner and a floor mop, as it has a mop that works with hot water, in addition to having an artificial intelligence floor recognition system, which determines where it can get wet and where it cannot, which is very good with its corresponding buts.

Is the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Track Complete robot vacuum cleaner worth buying?

If you are looking for a product that has a decent house for you and whose cleaning is widely customizable, yes, I think it is a good choice to enter the field of this type of equipment, although its starting price, ₹1,55,300 (around $1,757), does not exactly make it affordable.

What it’s not going to do is deep clean because it’s too respectful of corners and edges. When he feels that he cannot cross a line, he will not try, much less try to do it or find a way to get around that obstacle: he simply leaves the area.

That is why I recommend it whenever it is complemented with another cleaning instrument, either a handheld vacuum cleaner or a broom, which is very common when you have a piece of equipment of this type at home, because it does not reach everything, as is logical, due to its dimensions and shape.

Smooth design, yet surprisingly clean

When you live with animals, there’s one thing you pray to heaven for when testing a device: that it doesn’t have glitter and that it doesn’t stain just by looking at it. Seriously, any gear that isn’t matte will come out in your photos full of hairs, and the Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Track Complete is, so at first, start with the high pass.

With a square format and abundant straight lines, the product is divided into two parts: the upper one has a black design with golden sparkles and imitates the shape of marble. The bottom is uniform and black, with anti-stain and anti-scratch protection. It is in this part where the vacuum cleaner bag and the mop dispenser are kept.

Also, the solution for pet odors, which has its corresponding compartment. Dreame appreciates the fact of including not only a section for this type of product but also including two units of these neutralizers, of 200 ml each. It’s quite a detail, by the way.

As usual in this type of product, the water tanks are placed in the overhead compartment and can be easily handled thanks to the fact that they incorporate handles. In addition, they differ very well: instead of putting the dirty water and clean water icon, he has dyed the first container black, while the other is transparent.

The robot, made of the same material as the base, has a spinner on top with the on and off button, as well as the back to the base. This platform is raised during cleaning if it can’t get under some furniture.

At the bottom is where everything interesting is found, which is its side brush to thoroughly clean corners and less accessible areas, the double Hyper Stream anti-tangle brush that, surprisingly, has hardly picked up dirt in the two weeks it has been with me; and the AgiLift chassis, which has three wheels to climb certain surfaces.

These join the ProLeap system, which can climb double-level steps of up to 6 centimeters, an important detail for those who have this type of irregularity in the floor of the house, although in my case, I have seen how the robot wanted to go to the terrace on more than one occasion, despite not having that part of the house registered on the map.

Smooth and successful movements throughout the house in less than an hour

What I liked most about this robot vacuum cleaner is how fast it is able to map the house. In mine, of about 65 useful square meters, she has spent about 20 minutes, and although she has not been too specific when naming each area, she has been able to define each room faithfully.

It is true that it has found more facilities in the bathroom and in the bedroom, because I understand that the robot itself is smart enough to know that in a room with a large bed, it usually has it in the middle. However, if you expect icons or 3D reproductions of the elements that the robot identifies on the map of your house, you will not have them.

That way, it is most likely that where there is a sofa or a desk, place a white square to indicate that it is not going to pass through there, but without giving any more clues as to what that object is that is in that place. And, in my case, it doesn’t even need to, because I have tried it in the middle of a reorganization of the house, and it has done the most important thing, which is to adapt to each change of furniture.

This does not mean that he has changed the map, as he has been acknowledging that it was not the same as at the beginning, but it does mean that he has traveled through areas that he initially could not without any problem, both vacuuming and mopping.

Another detail in favor of this robot is that it speaks, can be configured in Spanish, and, in addition, not only indicates what it is going to do but also what state it is in. Thanks to this you can know if the clean water tank needs more water, if the dirty water tank has been filled, or if the mop compartment needs to be refilled.

And that, although it may seem silly, is very useful. Because, to tell the truth, I was more used to hearing what was happening to the robot at that moment (if the mops had come off or if one of its brushes had been rolled up) than when I returned to the station, and that means that you don’t have to be too aware of the application.

Also interesting is its battery, which has a capacity of 6,400 mAh and which, luckily, does not run out in a single pass. What’s more, the robot returns to the charging dock with 64% battery even if it has been set to maximum suction power and started with the standard route, not the fast one.

Although it has great virtues, there are two aspects of this robot that have not quite fit me. To begin with, I feel that he is too cautious with what he has in front of him. In this way, if at first he understands that he will not be able to cross a certain space, he will not back down to try; he will simply go elsewhere.

The other disappointment lies in how little he takes advantage of the rooms to complete a proper cleaning. I feel that he is in a hurry to finish, and where he could make several passes (previously configured to be like this and not just one), he is in a hurry, so in half an hour he has finished the house.

In this way, in the kitchen, where it could well be extended as it is one of the rooms that gets the most dirty, it moves more carefully than usual and does not clean under the countertops. Look, it has plenty of space, but it doesn’t move under the doors and drawers.

Disobedient mop, but bolder than the vacuum cleaner

There is a lot to say about your traction mop. First of all, the device comes with no less than three replacement pads, which are in addition to the many other accessories that come standard in the box. These include two side brushes, three dust bags, and three dust tank filters.

They are easily placed on the bottom of the robot, but they do not fit as well as they should, because it has a latch that requires some pressure, force and some skill to fit it completely, and because of that, it has occasionally come loose with a silly blow during cleaning.

The mop, which rises when it finds a rug and moves to the side to better reach the edges of each room, takes longer than you’d like to get going, about two minutes when it’s first put on. Once you have started and cleaned one of the rooms, it does not take even half of it to leave the base.

The pity is that he comes out with everything. Let me explain: if you want to mop the last room in the house, the one that is furthest from the base of the robot, it will reach it with the mop already running. For me it is not a problem, because whenever I pass it I have vacuumed before, but I understand that those who want to direct the cleaning to a single room can see it as a major failure.

In any case, it does so without too much noise, just like when it is working on the floor: you notice that it is running, but it does not give off a disturbing sound at the same volume as the vacuum cleaner. This only happens at the beginning of drying and then gives way to a fairly bearable white noise that lasts approximately four hours.

It is also washed with hot water at 100ºC, thanks to which it is always clean (and does not smell, although I think that is also due to the cleaning solution that comes with the robot, which is completely odorless); and dry, when hot air is applied at 50ºC to eliminate all bacteria.

And one last detail, in relation to humidity. It is true that if you put the maximum, which in the app is considered Wet from level 28, as well as the more advanced route Deep, you will see that the superficial stains will go away in one pass, but this will not be the case with those that are dry.

An easy-to-use app for everything

A good robot vacuum cleaner deserves a competent and easy-to-use application. This is exactly what happens here, since Dreamehome does not have too many complications, installs quickly, and can be linked to the device without problem via WiFi.

The only initial downside that I put is that the main interface does not include all the possible configuration options, but it is necessary to click on the Go to device button to start operating it.

However, on this first page it is possible to know how much battery it has, at what time it is (for example, drying the dust bag), and you can start it or send it home directly; that is, without choosing which cleaning task to be carried out or where. With this, as usual, other buttons are available to buy add-ons or access the support service.

Once inside, the map is shown with the numbered rooms and, in fact, it does them in that order, with a default configuration that I personally like, since it starts with the bedroom and ends with the usually dirtiest areas, such as the bathroom (mainly because of my cats’ litter) or the kitchen.

It is true that, in my case, he has placed no less than three kitchens (the real one, the bathroom, and the entrance of the house, a surprise especially for the latter) and that these rooms have been arranged according to the distance, to clean the one furthest from the base and then move on to the closest ones to complete the cleaning.

From the app it is also possible to modify the map itself, making partitions of the habituation or choosing the soil material according to its arrangement (vertical or horizontal). It is also possible to point out where there are thresholds or virtual ramps, curtains, areas of little free space, furniture, and carpets.

When choosing a cleaning model, you can opt for the Clean Genius format so that the robot itself establishes the cleaning area according to recommended parameters, or you can customize it. In this other case, the options are just right: vacuum, mop, combined, mop and then vacuum, or customize the cleaning of each room.

Within each of these options you can choose either the suction power or the amount of water you want to use to use the mop, but this cannot be chosen on the fly, but must be configured before the cycle begins.

It is true that, from the application, it is possible to change it—there are other models, such as the Roborock Saros Z70, which force you to send it to the charging base to change the program it is running at that moment—but the robot does not change anything when I have done so, so I imagine that it directly dismisses the request.
